Le comit\u00e9 d&rsquo;appel de la CAF a donc \u00e9cout\u00e9 les deux parties et devrait rendre son verdict sous peu pour situer les uns et les autres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selon le secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la f\u00e9d\u00e9ration b\u00e9ninoise de football (FBF), Claude Paqui cit\u00e9 par le m\u00e9dia en ligne l&rsquo;Investigateur, la plaidoirie du B\u00e9nin a d\u00e9but\u00e9 par \u00ab les raisons pour lesquelles le match n\u2019a pas eu lieu alors que les Ecureuils s\u2019\u00e9taient d\u00e9plac\u00e9s \u00e0 Freetown \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les autorit\u00e9s du football b\u00e9ninois ont par la sute demand\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019instance dirigeante du football en Afrique de \u00ab retenir la Sierra comptable pour faux et usage de faux, falsification de r\u00e9sultats et de la rendre responsable pour la non tenue du match \u00bb. Et ce n&rsquo;est pas fini. Le B\u00e9nin souhaite que la CAF applique \u00e0 la Sierra L\u00e9one, \u00ab toutes les sanctions subs\u00e9quentes \u00e0 ces infractions en vertu de son r\u00e8glement int\u00e9rieur ; et au code d\u2019\u00e9thique et de lui infliger la sanction match perdu sur tapis vert ; et de r\u00e9tablir le B\u00e9nin dans tous ses droits \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De son c\u00f4t\u00e9, la Sierra Leone avait au lendemain du report de la rencontre, d\u00e9pos\u00e9 une plainte contre le B\u00e9nin aupr\u00e8s de la CAF. Elle souhaite pour sa part que le B\u00e9nin soit conform\u00e9ment aux dispositions de la CAF, sanctionn\u00e9 pour avoir refus\u00e9 de jouer le match.<br>Pour rappel, la Sierra Leone avait d\u00e9clar\u00e9 5 joueurs B\u00e9ninois positifs au coronavirus \u00e0 une heure de la rencontre, alors que les textes de la CAF exigent que les r\u00e9sultats des tests de Covid-19 soient d\u00e9voil\u00e9s 6h avant le match.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chose \u00e9tonnante, les 5 joueurs B\u00e9ninois test\u00e9s positifs par la Sierra Leone, et qui sont d&rsquo;ailleurs des titulaires, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 test\u00e9s n\u00e9gatifs au d\u00e9part \u00e0 l&rsquo;a\u00e9roport de Cotonou. Et une fois revenus de Freetown, ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 tous test\u00e9s n\u00e9gatifs.
