L\u2019op\u00e9ration conduite par le minist\u00e8re des Affaires sociales et le Fonds d\u2019Appui \u00e0 la Solidarit\u00e9 nationale a d\u00e9marr\u00e9 hier mardi 29 juin 2021 \u00e0 Cotonou.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0152uvrer pour une prise en charge ad\u00e9quate d\u2019une part et contribuer \u00e0 la salubrit\u00e9 des villes du B\u00e9nin d\u2019autre part est un souci permanent pour l\u2019\u00c9tat b\u00e9ninois. C\u2019est dans cette dynamique que le minist\u00e8re des Affaires sociales en partenariat avec le Fonds d\u2019appui \u00e0 la Solidarit\u00e9 nationale a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer les malades mentaux de la ville de Cotonou \u00e0 travers une op\u00e9ration dirig\u00e9e par la police municipale et les sapeurs-pompiers. \u00c0 leur vu, ceux-ci, visiblement intimid\u00e9s, ne se sont pas pour autant fait prier. Apr\u00e8s une heure de tourn\u00e9e, les sapeurs-pompiers et les agents de la police municipale mobilis\u00e9s \u00e0 cet effet, les ont d\u00e9pos\u00e9s au centre hospitalier psychiatrique ex Jacquot du B\u00e9nin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019assistance sociale en charge des op\u00e9rations n\u2019a pas manqu\u00e9 de rappeler aux agents la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer \u00e9galement les effets de ces malades mentaux. Selon elle, ses affaires aident parfois \u00e0 retrouver les parents de ces derniers \u00ab Ses outils sont parfois tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9cieux pour la suite du processus. \u00c7a permet de les identifier apr\u00e8s parce qu\u2019il y aura la recherche des parents donc il peut avoir leur adresse dans leurs bagages donc on prend les bagages en m\u00eame temps \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il faut noter que l\u2019activit\u00e9 qui est \u00e0 sa troisi\u00e8me \u00e9dition est pr\u00e9vue pour s\u2019\u00e9tendre dans d\u2019autres villes du pays dans les prochains jours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\"><strong>Justelaine Akefouin (Stg)<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Environ 300 malades mentaux errant dans la ville de Cotonou seront bient\u00f4t r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9s et d\u00e9pos\u00e9s dans des centres psychiatriques appropri\u00e9s.
