Un bilan qui donne le tournis aux autorit\u00e9s gouvernementales. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le chol\u00e9ra est une maladie diarrh\u00e9ique qui se propage souvent par l&rsquo;eau contamin\u00e9e. Il est particuli\u00e8rement dangereux pour les femmes enceintes. En Mozambique, l&rsquo;\u00e9pid\u00e9mie fait ravage et nombre de cas augmente de fa\u00e7on exponentielle. Selon les informations, le bilan fait \u00e9tat de plus de 400 nouveaux cas par jour. La principale cause d&rsquo;augmentation des cas est li\u00e9e au cyclone Freddy qui a frapp\u00e9 le pays. D\u00e9j\u00e0 les infrastructures d&rsquo;eau ont \u00e9t\u00e9 emport\u00e9es dans les rivi\u00e8res avec les eaux us\u00e9es brutes. Dans la ville portuaire de Quelimane, les villageois ont d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que leurs communaut\u00e9s s&rsquo;\u00e9taient \u00e0 peine remises de la temp\u00eate lorsque le chol\u00e9ra s&rsquo;est propag\u00e9. Une femme locale, Cidalia Joao, a accouch\u00e9 quelques jours seulement apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e du cyclone Freddy et s&rsquo;est retrouv\u00e9e \u00e0 lutter pour subvenir aux besoins fondamentaux de sa famille. <strong><em>\u00ab\u00a0Le chol\u00e9ra a fait beaucoup de morts dans ce village. Nous aimerions que le gouvernement nous aide. Nous manquons d&rsquo;eau potable et de beaucoup de choses. Le chol\u00e9ra en a tu\u00e9 beaucoup et le cyclone a endommag\u00e9 beaucoup de choses. Beaucoup de gens ont tout perdu\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/strong>, a-t-elle d\u00e9clar\u00e9.
