Le pr\u00e9sident de la Chambre des repr\u00e9sentants Kevin McCarthy a \u00e9t\u00e9 destitu\u00e9 dans l’apr\u00e8s-midi (soir\u00e9e de Paris) de ce mardi 03 octobre 2023. Cette destitution fait suite \u00e0 la motion d\u00e9pos\u00e9e contre lui par l’\u00e9lu de la droite dure am\u00e9ricaine Matt Gaetz. Pour cette destitution, les \u00e9lus ont vot\u00e9 216 contre 210. D’apr\u00e8s les m\u00e9dias am\u00e9ricains, les 208 \u00e9lus d\u00e9mocrates ont vot\u00e9 favorablement en vue de la destitution du pr\u00e9sident de la Chambre. Ils ont b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 du soutien de 08 \u00e9lus r\u00e9publicains. Pour les 210 autres \u00e9lus r\u00e9publicains qui appuyaient le pr\u00e9sident, ils ont vot\u00e9 contre cette destitution dont la proc\u00e9dure est tr\u00e8s ancienne dans l’histoire politique des USA. Au d\u00e9sormais ex-speaker\u00a0\u00bb, il est reproch\u00e9 d’avoir eu des n\u00e9gociations avec le parti au pouvoir Les D\u00e9mocrates afin de financer l’administration f\u00e9d\u00e9rale. De m\u00eame, il aurait eu des \u00e9changes avec le Pr\u00e9sident Joe Biden afin de d\u00e9bloquer des fonds au profit de l’Ukraine. \u00c0 suivre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
