Il s&rsquo;agit de la juge japonaise Tomoko Akane (68 ans). Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lue hier lundi 11 Mars 2024 lors de la pl\u00e9ni\u00e8re de l&rsquo;institution selon des informations rapport\u00e9es par 24 heures au B\u00e9nin. L&rsquo;Italien Rosario Salvatore Aitala (56 ans) est \u00e9lu premier vice-pr\u00e9sident, tandis que la b\u00e9ninoise Reine Alapini-Gansou (67 ans) prend le poste de deuxi\u00e8me vice-pr\u00e9sidente. La nouvelle pr\u00e9sidente de la CPI se dit honor\u00e9e d&rsquo;avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lue par ses coll\u00e8gues . Mieux, elle d\u00e9voile ses ambitions pour les 3 prochaines ann\u00e9es. \u00ab Je me concentrerai sur la promotion du dialogue entre les organes de la Cour et les repr\u00e9sentants de la d\u00e9fense et des victimes, ainsi que sur le renforcement du dialogue avec les \u00c9tats parties et les \u00c9tats qui n&rsquo;ont pas encore ratifi\u00e9 le Statut de Rome. Je donnerai \u00e9galement la priorit\u00e9 \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et au bien-\u00eatre du personnel de la Cour \u00bb, a fait savoir la nipponne Tomoko Akane. Elle succ\u00e8de au polonais Piotr Hofma\u0144ski.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour rappel, Reine Alapini-Gansou a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lue juge \u00e0 la Cour p\u00e9nale internationale le 5 d\u00e9cembre 2017 lors de la 16e session de l&rsquo;Assembl\u00e9e des \u00c9tats parties au si\u00e8ge de l&rsquo;ONU].
