Le Professeur Cossi Doroth\u00e9 SOSSA \u00e9tait \u00e0 Dakar le mercredi 21 ao\u00fbt 2024, dans le cadre d’une visite d’amiti\u00e9 et de travail \u00e0 l’invitation de M. Mamadou Badio CAMARA, son homologue s\u00e9n\u00e9galais. Les deux personnalit\u00e9s ont discut\u00e9 des possibilit\u00e9s de partenariat bilat\u00e9ral en vue de renforcer les institutions qu’ils dirigent. \u00ab\u00a0Nous avons \u00e9chang\u00e9 sur les bonnes relations qui existent entre nos deux institutions et sur nos prochaines activit\u00e9s communes\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le Pr\u00e9sident de la Cour constitutionnelle du B\u00e9nin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les discussions ont port\u00e9 sur des aspects sp\u00e9cifiques, notamment les comp\u00e9tences respectives des deux juridictions, leurs apports jurisprudentiels et leur engagement commun pour la protection des droits et libert\u00e9s fondamentaux. La rencontre s’est d\u00e9roul\u00e9e en pr\u00e9sence du Consul du B\u00e9nin pr\u00e8s le S\u00e9n\u00e9gal, M. Moussa CASSE, qui a contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 renforcer les liens entre les deux institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce rapprochement permettra aux deux juridictions de r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir ensemble sur les principes et m\u00e9thodes qui fondent la jurisprudence et la pratique constitutionnelle dans leurs pays respectifs. Le contact \u00e9tabli entre les deux pr\u00e9sidents d’institutions favorisera \u00e9galement le respect des droits fondamentaux entre les deux nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
