Le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Issakh Acheikh, porte-parole de l&rsquo;arm\u00e9e, a confirm\u00e9 l&rsquo;incident qui s\u2019est d\u00e9roul\u00e9 ce weekend dans la r\u00e9gion instable du lac Tchad, lors d&rsquo;une allocution t\u00e9l\u00e9vis\u00e9e dimanche soir.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La r\u00e9gion du lac Tchad est marqu\u00e9e par une recrudescence des violences cette ann\u00e9e, avec de fr\u00e9quentes incursions des groupes extr\u00e9mistes Boko Haram et l&rsquo;\u00c9tat islamique en Afrique de l&rsquo;Ouest. Cette s\u00e9rie d&rsquo;attaques fait craindre une escalade des conflits, malgr\u00e9 une accalmie notable depuis une campagne militaire r\u00e9ussie en 2020 pour d\u00e9manteler les bases des insurg\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Face \u00e0 cette menace persistante, le pr\u00e9sident Mahamat D\u00e9by Itno a r\u00e9cemment lanc\u00e9 une op\u00e9ration militaire visant \u00e0 d\u00e9loger les militants de la r\u00e9gion.
