En octobre 2023, le taux d&rsquo;inflation annuel a grimp\u00e9 \u00e0 33,88 %, contre 32,70 % en septembre, selon les donn\u00e9es du Bureau national des statistiques (NBS).<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019inflation alimentaire, un indicateur cl\u00e9 du co\u00fbt de la vie pour des millions de Nig\u00e9rians, a explos\u00e9 \u00e0 <strong>39,16 %<\/strong> sur un an en octobre, contre 37,77 % le mois pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent. Cette hausse vertigineuse est attribu\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019augmentation des prix de produits de base tels que le riz, le ma\u00efs et les pommes de terre. Ces produits, essentiels pour la population, subissent les effets combin\u00e9s des catastrophes naturelles et des r\u00e9formes \u00e9conomiques controvers\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Une s\u00e9rie d&rsquo;inondations majeures a ravag\u00e9 29 des 36 \u00c9tats nig\u00e9rians, d\u00e9truisant plus de 1,5 million d&rsquo;hectares de terres cultiv\u00e9es.
