Comme \u00e0 l\u2019accoutum\u00e9e, les travaux ont \u00e9t\u00e9 ouverts par une c\u00e9r\u00e9monie protocolaire pr\u00e9sid\u00e9e par le Directeur de Cabinet du Ministre de la D\u00e9centralisation et de la Gouvernance Locale (MDGL), Emile Gnonlonfoun.<br>Dans son discours circonstanciel, ce dernier a rappel\u00e9 depuis le 9 janvier 2024, le MDGL dispose d\u2019une nouvelle politique qui prend en compte les nouvelles orientations fix\u00e9es par le gouvernement pour le secteur afin de mieux contribuer \u00e0 l\u2019am\u00e9lioration des conditions de vie des populations \u00e0 la base. A l\u2019en croire, ce document qu\u2019est la PONADEC vise \u00e0 faire des communes du B\u00e9nin \u00e0 l\u2019horizon 2033, des espaces bien gouvern\u00e9es \u00e0 \u00e9conomie prosp\u00e8re pour un d\u00e9veloppement harmonieux et \u00e9quilibr\u00e9 du territoire national.<br>Emile Gnonlonfoun pr\u00e9cise par ailleurs que cette session vise \u00e0 orienter le Secr\u00e9tariat Particulier (SP\/CIP-PONADEC) dans l\u2019\u00e9laboration d\u2019une strat\u00e9gie au regard des propositions et des exigences pr\u00e9vues dans ce cadre.
