Cette intervention, men\u00e9e vendredi dans le nord du pays, a \u00e9galement abouti \u00e0 la neutralisation de plusieurs combattants et \u00e0 la saisie de mat\u00e9riel militaire.<br>Dans un communiqu\u00e9, les Forces arm\u00e9es maliennes (FAMa) ont confirm\u00e9 l\u2019arrestation de Mahamad Ould Erkehile, connu sous les noms d\u2019Abou Rakia et plus r\u00e9cemment d\u2019Abou Hach. Ce dernier est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 comme un cadre influent de l\u2019EIGS, activement recherch\u00e9 par les services de renseignement. Il est accus\u00e9 d\u2019avoir orchestr\u00e9 et coordonn\u00e9 des exactions parmi les plus graves contre les populations civiles des r\u00e9gions de M\u00e9naka et Gao, ainsi que des attaques r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9es contre les forces arm\u00e9es maliennes. L\u2019op\u00e9ration, men\u00e9e par les unit\u00e9s engag\u00e9es dans la r\u00e9gion de Gao, a \u00e9galement permis la r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration de divers \u00e9quipements militaires, incluant des mat\u00e9riaux destin\u00e9s \u00e0 la fabrication d\u2019engins explosifs improvis\u00e9s, selon les pr\u00e9cisions du communiqu\u00e9.<br>Depuis 2012, le Mali est confront\u00e9 \u00e0 une ins\u00e9curit\u00e9 persistante aliment\u00e9e par l\u2019activisme de groupes arm\u00e9s affili\u00e9s \u00e0 Al-Qa\u00efda et \u00e0 l\u2019organisation \u00c9tat islamique, ainsi que par des violences communautaires et criminelles.
