Le 10 janvier 2025, un h\u00e9licopt\u00e8re civil affr\u00e9t\u00e9 par le Commandement des \u00c9tats-Unis pour l’Afrique (AFRICOM) a effectu\u00e9 un atterrissage forc\u00e9 \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 de Cotonou, au B\u00e9nin. L’incident, caus\u00e9 par une d\u00e9faillance m\u00e9canique partielle, n’a fait aucune victime, selon les informations disponibles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’appareil participait \u00e0 une mission de soutien des Forces Arm\u00e9es B\u00e9ninoises (FAB), dans le cadre d’op\u00e9rations d’\u00e9vacuation m\u00e9dicale. Ce partenariat repose sur un protocole d’accord entre AFRICOM et les FAB, visant \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer la coordination et l’assistance entre les deux entit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les autorit\u00e9s locales et les responsables de la mission am\u00e9ricaine n’ont pour l’instant fourni aucun d\u00e9tail suppl\u00e9mentaire sur l’\u00e9tat de l’h\u00e9licopt\u00e8re ou sur les prochaines \u00e9tapes de l’enqu\u00eate technique. Toutefois, cet incident a mis en lumi\u00e8re la collaboration op\u00e9rationnelle entre les \u00c9tats-Unis et le B\u00e9nin dans le domaine de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et de l’assistance humanitaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le 10 janvier 2025, un h\u00e9licopt\u00e8re pilot\u00e9 par des civils a subi une d\u00e9faillance m\u00e9canique partielle ayant entra\u00een\u00e9 un atterrissage forc\u00e9 \u00e0 l’ext\u00e9rieur de Cotonou au B\u00e9nin. Aucun bless\u00e9 n’est \u00e0 d\u00e9plorer dans cet incident. Cet h\u00e9licopt\u00e8re civil est affr\u00e9t\u00e9 par le Commandement des Etats-Unis pour l’Afrique (AFRICOM) et a particip\u00e9 au soutien des Forces Arm\u00e9es B\u00e9ninoises (FAB) en mati\u00e8re d’\u00e9vacuation m\u00e9dicale. Les relations entre AFRICOM et les FAB sont r\u00e9gies par un protocole d’accord visant \u00e0 renforcer la coordination et le soutien mutuel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
