Le sinistre s&rsquo;est d\u00e9clar\u00e9 dans la nuit du mardi 21 au mercredi 22 janvier 2025, aux environs de 1 heure du matin. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019intervention rapide des sapeurs-pompiers et de quelques femmes pr\u00e9sentes pr\u00e8s du march\u00e9, le feu a \u00e9t\u00e9 ma\u00eetris\u00e9 vers 4 heures.<br>Aucune perte humaine n\u2019a \u00e9t\u00e9 enregistr\u00e9e, mais les d\u00e9g\u00e2ts mat\u00e9riels sont consid\u00e9rables. Les flammes ont d\u00e9truit plusieurs hangars et trois boutiques situ\u00e9es pr\u00e8s du march\u00e9 \u00e0 volaille, r\u00e9duisant tout en cendres. Environ 2 000 volailles ont \u00e9galement p\u00e9ri dans l\u2019incendie.<br>D\u2019apr\u00e8s les premi\u00e8res informations recueillies, l\u2019origine du feu serait li\u00e9e \u00e0 un manque de vigilance des op\u00e9rateurs de racleurs de plumes de volailles, install\u00e9s \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 des revendeurs. Ces derniers auraient omis d\u2019\u00e9teindre compl\u00e8tement un feu, provoquant ainsi la catastrophe.
