L\u2019annonce a \u00e9t\u00e9 faite par le ministre de la Communication, Aliou Sall, \u00e0 l\u2019ouverture de la conf\u00e9rence des r\u00e9gulateurs des m\u00e9dias francophones, qui se tient les 27 et 28 janvier \u00e0 Dakar.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019actuel organe de r\u00e9gulation, le Conseil National de R\u00e9gulation de l\u2019Audiovisuel (CNRA), est jug\u00e9 obsol\u00e8te et inefficace. Habibou Dia, directeur de la communication au minist\u00e8re de la Communication, a soulign\u00e9 ses limites : \u00ab\u00a0Le CNRA manque de moyens, tant humains que financiers, et n\u2019est pas \u00e9quip\u00e9 pour une surveillance technologique performante. Il est, par exemple, incapable de r\u00e9guler les radios au-del\u00e0 de Dakar.\u00a0\u00bb<br>Selon les informations, le constat n\u2019est pas nouveau. En 2020, le projet d\u2019une Autorit\u00e9 de r\u00e9gulation de la communication audiovisuelle (ARCA) avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9voqu\u00e9, sans aboutir. Cette fois, les ambitions vont au-del\u00e0 des m\u00e9dias audiovisuels traditionnels. Le nouveau r\u00e9gulateur sera charg\u00e9 d\u2019encadrer non seulement la presse \u00e9crite et les sites web, mais aussi les r\u00e9seaux sociaux, o\u00f9 l\u2019influence croissante de certains acteurs interpelle. \u00ab\u00a0Il y a des influenceurs suivis par des milliers de personnes qui diffusent des informations, souvent assimilables \u00e0 de la publicit\u00e9 d\u00e9guis\u00e9e. D\u2019autres se comportent comme des journalistes en publiant des informations qu\u2019ils pr\u00e9tendent recouper. Il est n\u00e9cessaire de pr\u00e9venir la d\u00e9sinformation, les propos haineux et les fake news, tout en offrant un accompagnement \u00e0 ces acteurs\u00a0\u00bb, explique Habibou Dia.<br>Dans un contexte de prolif\u00e9ration des fausses nouvelles et de contenus haineux sur les r\u00e9seaux sociaux, cette r\u00e9forme vise \u00e0 mieux prot\u00e9ger les citoyens tout en garantissant une plus grande transparence dans les pratiques m\u00e9diatiques.
