Un policier, en proie \u00e0 une d\u00e9tresse psychologique apparente, a ouvert le feu sur des passants apr\u00e8s avoir barricad\u00e9 une route tr\u00e8s fr\u00e9quent\u00e9e. L\u2019attaque a fait plusieurs victimes, semant la panique dans cette ville commer\u00e7ante.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019incident s\u2019est produit au carrefour d\u2019Atakpa, \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 du march\u00e9 de Watt, l\u2019un des principaux centres commerciaux de Calabar. Selon des t\u00e9moins, l\u2019agent de police, visiblement instable, a emp\u00each\u00e9 les commer\u00e7ants et les passants d\u2019acc\u00e9der \u00e0 la route avant de tirer au hasard sur la foule. Pris de panique, les riverains ont tent\u00e9 de fuir, mais au moins quatre personnes ont perdu la vie sous les balles du policier. Plusieurs autres ont \u00e9t\u00e9 bless\u00e9es, tandis que des t\u00e9moins d\u00e9crivaient une sc\u00e8ne de chaos total.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Face \u00e0 l\u2019ampleur du drame, les forces de l\u2019ordre ont rapidement boucl\u00e9 la zone et ouvert une enqu\u00eate. Les motivations du policier restent inconnues, bien que certains t\u00e9moignages sugg\u00e8rent qu\u2019il souffrait de troubles mentaux.
