L\u2019annonce a \u00e9t\u00e9 faite par le ministre des Affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, apr\u00e8s une enqu\u00eate interne.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le responsable informatique de l\u2019ambassade, Fred Kwarteng, a \u00e9t\u00e9 licenci\u00e9 par d\u00e9cision du pr\u00e9sident John Mahama. Il est accus\u00e9 d\u2019avoir d\u00e9tourn\u00e9 des demandes de visas et de passeports vers une entreprise priv\u00e9e, Ghana Travel Consultants (GTC), en \u00e9change de frais ill\u00e9gaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019enqu\u00eate a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que Kwarteng avait install\u00e9 un lien non autoris\u00e9 sur le site officiel de l\u2019ambassade, redirigeant les usagers vers GTC. Les paiements \u00e9taient vers\u00e9s sur un compte personnel. Les faits auraient dur\u00e9 au moins cinq ans. L\u2019affaire a \u00e9t\u00e9 transmise au procureur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral pour des poursuites. Le ministre a \u00e9galement exig\u00e9 la restitution des fonds per\u00e7us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La fermeture de l\u2019ambassade est annonc\u00e9e pour une dur\u00e9e ind\u00e9termin\u00e9e.
