Selon Bloomberg une demande officielle a \u00e9t\u00e9 adress\u00e9e aux autorit\u00e9s comp\u00e9tentes pour obtenir l\u2019autorisation de lancement du chantier.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce port, pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 comme un futur hub strat\u00e9gique servira \u00e0 dynamiser les exportations nig\u00e9rianes de gaz naturel liqu\u00e9fi\u00e9 (GNL) et \u00e0 centraliser les flux d\u2019engrais. Il devrait \u00e9galement am\u00e9liorer les connexions entre les infrastructures industrielles du groupe Dangote et les march\u00e9s r\u00e9gionaux d\u2019Afrique de l\u2019Ouest. Une strat\u00e9gie de renforcement de la comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9 logistique du conglom\u00e9rat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c0 l\u2019origine, la zone franche d\u2019Olokola devait accueillir la m\u00e9ga-raffinerie et l\u2019usine p\u00e9trochimique de Dangote, aujourd\u2019hui situ\u00e9es \u00e0 la p\u00e9riph\u00e9rie de Lagos. Cependant, des d\u00e9saccords avec les autorit\u00e9s gouvernementales avaient contraint le milliardaire \u00e0 revoir ses plans.
