L\u2019information a \u00e9t\u00e9 confirm\u00e9e par le porte-parole du gouvernement, Wilfried L\u00e9andre Houngb\u00e9dji, lors d\u2019un point de presse.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selon les pr\u00e9cisions du repr\u00e9sentant du gouvernement, ces deux pays sah\u00e9liens dont l\u2019identit\u00e9 n\u2019a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9e n\u2019ont pas encore officiellement r\u00e9pondu \u00e0 l\u2019invitation \u00e9mise par les autorit\u00e9s b\u00e9ninoises. \u00ab \u00c0 l\u2019heure o\u00f9 je vous parle, je n\u2019ai pas id\u00e9e de ce qu\u2019ils ont r\u00e9pondu, mais nous avons fait la d\u00e9marche de les inviter \u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9.Outre ces deux \u00c9tats, deux autres nations ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 confirm\u00e9 leur participation et leurs troupes sont actuellement pr\u00e9sentes sur le territoire b\u00e9ninois en pr\u00e9paration du d\u00e9fil\u00e9. L\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement militaire s\u2019annonce symbolique, puisqu\u2019il s\u2019agira du dernier d\u00e9fil\u00e9 sous le mandat de Patrice Talon, pr\u00e9sident du B\u00e9nin depuis 2016.Cette d\u00e9marche diplomatique s\u2019inscrit dans un contexte r\u00e9gional tendu, marqu\u00e9 par des repositionnements g\u00e9opolitiques au Sahel.
