Le samedi 23 ao\u00fbt 2025 \u00e0 l\u2019aube, une patrouille du commissariat de l\u2019arrondissement a intercept\u00e9 deux individus transportant des moutons. Pris de panique \u00e0 la vue des agents, ils ont trouv\u00e9 refuge dans une habitation proche du march\u00e9 \u00e0 b\u00e9tail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Guid\u00e9e par des renseignements pr\u00e9cis, l\u2019\u00e9quipe conduite par le chef d\u2019unit\u00e9 a poursuivi l\u2019op\u00e9ration. Sur place, l\u2019un des suspects s\u2019est enfui, abandonnant une motocyclette de marque Haojue 110-S dont l\u2019origine reste suspecte. Dans un autre domicile, appartenant \u00e0 un d\u00e9tenu de la prison civile de Calavi, la police a surpris deux hommes en train de br\u00fbler quatre moutons en gestation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La fouille a permis de mettre la main sur cinq ch\u00e8vres vivantes, divers outils utilis\u00e9s pour le d\u00e9pe\u00e7age (pneus usag\u00e9s, tonneaux, coupe-coupe, couteaux, hache, pelle), mais aussi des r\u00e9gimes de palme et une lampe solaire. L\u2019op\u00e9ration a pris une tournure d\u00e9cisive lorsqu\u2019une habitante de Z\u00e8 Wedji a reconnu et r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9 six moutons vol\u00e9s parmi les animaux saisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La population a salu\u00e9 ce coup de filet qui met un terme aux activit\u00e9s d\u2019un r\u00e9seau tr\u00e8s actif autour du march\u00e9 \u00e0 b\u00e9tail.
