En 2023 seulement, plus de 75 000 femmes nig\u00e9rianes ont perdu la vie lors de l\u2019accouchement, r\u00e9v\u00e9lant une crise sanitaire dramatique aggrav\u00e9e par l\u2019ins\u00e9curit\u00e9 et le sous-financement du syst\u00e8me de sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans le nord-est du pays, notamment dans l\u2019\u00c9tat de Borno, la situation est encore plus alarmante. Les combats li\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019insurrection de Boko Haram bloquent les routes et paralysent l\u2019acc\u00e8s aux h\u00f4pitaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Depuis quatorze ans, les attaques de Boko Haram rythment la vie quotidienne, avec des enl\u00e8vements massifs d\u2019\u00e9coliers et des assauts quasi quotidiens. La fuite de nombreux travailleurs de la sant\u00e9 et d\u2019organisations humanitaires accentue l\u2019isolement des femmes enceintes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apr\u00e8s le retrait de centaines de millions de dollars d\u2019aide am\u00e9ricaine, Abuja a tent\u00e9 de r\u00e9agir en d\u00e9bloquant 200 millions de dollars pour son budget de sant\u00e9. Mais dans l\u2019\u00c9tat de Borno, les m\u00e9decins ne gagnent en moyenne que 99 \u00e0 156 dollars par mois.
