En pr\u00eatant serment, il s\u2019est engag\u00e9 \u00e0 conduire l\u2019institution avec \u00ab loyaut\u00e9, discr\u00e9tion et conscience \u00bb, ouvrant ainsi une nouvelle \u00e8re pour l\u2019une des principales institutions financi\u00e8res du continent.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans son allocution, le nouveau pr\u00e9sident a soulign\u00e9 que \u00ab le d\u00e9veloppement ne peut \u00eatre durable sans paix \u00bb, rappelant les d\u00e9fis auxquels l\u2019Afrique est confront\u00e9e. Il a insist\u00e9 sur la r\u00e9silience du continent et appel\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00ab passer \u00e0 l\u2019action \u00bb pour r\u00e9pondre aux attentes des populations : \u00ab L\u2019Afrique nous regarde \u00bb, a-t-il affirm\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c2g\u00e9 de 60 ans, Dr Sidi Ould Tah a exprim\u00e9 sa gratitude au pr\u00e9sident ivoirien pour son \u00ab pr\u00e9cieux soutien \u00bb lors de son \u00e9lection. Il a \u00e9galement promis de travailler en concertation avec les gouverneurs et de s\u2019inscrire dans la continuit\u00e9 de \u00ab l\u2019\u0153uvre exaltante \u00bb de ses pr\u00e9d\u00e9cesseurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alassane Ouattara a, pour sa part, salu\u00e9 \u00ab une nouvelle \u00e8re d\u2019esp\u00e9rance \u00bb pour la Banque, apr\u00e8s une d\u00e9cennie de gouvernance marqu\u00e9e par des avanc\u00e9es sous l\u2019\u00e8re Adesina.
