Apr\u00e8s avoir appel\u00e9 les \u00e9lecteurs \u00e0 ne pas voter son p\u00e8re pour le scrutin pr\u00e9sidentiel du 12 octobre prochain, elle a publi\u00e9 ce dimanche 21 septembre une nouvelle vid\u00e9o sur TikTok o\u00f9 elle pr\u00e9sente Paul Biya comme un \u00ab bijou \u00bb et un \u00ab excellent candidat \u00bb.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans ce message de plus de trois minutes, Brenda Biya adopte un ton d\u2019excuses et reconna\u00eet son inexp\u00e9rience en politique. \u00ab On ne va pas se mentir, la politique, je n\u2019y connais rien de chez rien \u00bb, affirme-t-elle, avant d\u2019ajouter : \u00ab Je dois me remettre en question. Je ne me rends pas compte des gens que je heurte \u00bb. La jeune femme insiste \u00e9galement sur son admiration pour l\u2019intellect de son p\u00e8re et le c\u0153ur de sa m\u00e8re, estimant que le peuple finira par reconna\u00eetre Paul Biya comme \u00ab un grand homme \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette volte-face contraste fortement avec ses propos tenus quelques jours plus t\u00f4t. Dans une premi\u00e8re vid\u00e9o, Brenda Biya avait accus\u00e9 son p\u00e8re d\u2019avoir \u00ab fait souffrir beaucoup de gens, y compris sa propre famille \u00bb, allant jusqu\u2019\u00e0 souhaiter l\u2019\u00e9lection d\u2019un autre pr\u00e9sident. Une sortie qui avait rapidement fait le tour des r\u00e9seaux sociaux, en pleine campagne \u00e9lectorale et alors que Paul Biya, 92 ans et au pouvoir depuis 42 ans, brigue un huiti\u00e8me mandat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans sa r\u00e9cente intervention, Brenda Biya qualifie ses pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes d\u00e9clarations d\u2019\u00ab erreur \u00bb, reconnaissant avoir voulu \u00ab se m\u00ealer des \u00e9lections \u00bb sans en avoir la l\u00e9gitimit\u00e9.
