Dans un communiqu\u00e9 conjoint, ils affirment mettre fin, sans d\u00e9lai, \u00e0 leur appartenance \u00e0 ce syst\u00e8me mon\u00e9taire h\u00e9rit\u00e9 de la colonisation fran\u00e7aise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selon le texte, le Franc CFA est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 comme un outil de domination \u00e9conomique, rest\u00e9 en vigueur depuis les ind\u00e9pendances. Les dirigeants de l\u2019AES estiment que son maintien a frein\u00e9 les marges de man\u0153uvre de leurs \u00c9tats en mati\u00e8re de politique mon\u00e9taire et de d\u00e9veloppement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La d\u00e9cision, qualifi\u00e9e d\u2019\u00ab irr\u00e9versible \u00bb, s\u2019accompagne d\u2019une annonce forte, la mise en place prochaine d\u2019une monnaie commune propre aux trois pays. Celle-ci est pens\u00e9e comme un instrument de souverainet\u00e9 \u00e9conomique, venant compl\u00e9ter la reconqu\u00eate politique et s\u00e9curitaire d\u00e9j\u00e0 engag\u00e9e par l\u2019alliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adopt\u00e9 ce 2 octobre 2025 \u00e0 Bamako, le communiqu\u00e9 souligne que cette orientation r\u00e9pond aux aspirations des peuples du Sahel et aux sacrifices consentis dans leur histoire r\u00e9cente.
