L\u2019ancien ministre et pr\u00e9sident du Front pour le Salut National du Cameroun (FSNC) aurait devanc\u00e9 le pr\u00e9sident sortant Paul Biya, au pouvoir depuis plus de quatre d\u00e9cennies.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans une br\u00e8ve d\u00e9claration relay\u00e9e sur les r\u00e9seaux sociaux, Issa Tchiroma, pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 par ses partisans comme le \u00ab pr\u00e9sident \u00e9lu \u00bb, a tenu \u00e0 rassurer ses compatriotes. \u00ab Peuple camerounais, vous avez parl\u00e9 massivement et moi, \u00e0 mon tour, je m\u2019adresserai \u00e0 vous bient\u00f4t. Je suis en s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et en sant\u00e9 \u00bb, a-t-il affirm\u00e9. Cette sortie intervient alors que les r\u00e9sultats officiels n\u2019ont pas encore \u00e9t\u00e9 valid\u00e9s par le Conseil constitutionnel. Les op\u00e9rations de centralisation des votes se poursuivent \u00e0 Yaound\u00e9 et dans plusieurs r\u00e9gions du pays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c0 92 ans, Paul Biya brigue un huiti\u00e8me mandat apr\u00e8s plus de 42 ans au pouvoir. Selon les premi\u00e8res estimations non officielles, il serait devanc\u00e9 dans plusieurs bastions par son ancien ministre, une premi\u00e8re dans l\u2019histoire politique r\u00e9cente du Cameroun.Les r\u00e9sultats d\u00e9finitifs seront proclam\u00e9s dans les prochains jours par les autorit\u00e9s \u00e9lectorales.
