Dans un communiqu\u00e9 rendu public, le ministre de la sant\u00e9 Benjamin Hounkpatin a clarifi\u00e9 la situation \u00e9pid\u00e9miologique nationale. Selon lui, les cas d\u2019infections respiratoires signal\u00e9s ces derni\u00e8res semaines sont dus \u00e0 la grippe saisonni\u00e8re, et non \u00e0 une reprise de la pand\u00e9mie.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Des tests de diagnostic rapide pour la COVID-19 et la grippe (Influenza A et B) ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s dans tous les d\u00e9partements. Les r\u00e9sultats, coordonn\u00e9s par le Laboratoire national de la sant\u00e9 publique, n\u2019ont r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 aucun cas positif \u00e0 la COVID-19. En revanche, les analyses confirment la pr\u00e9sence active des virus grippaux saisonniers, typiques de la p\u00e9riode allant de septembre \u00e0 d\u00e9cembre.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le ministre souligne que cette recrudescence est li\u00e9e aux variations climatiques, humidit\u00e9, pluies, premiers vents d\u2019harmattan et \u00e0 la mobilit\u00e9 accrue des populations. Il invite chacun \u00e0 renforcer les gestes d\u2019hygi\u00e8ne, notamment le lavage des mains, le port du masque en cas de toux ou d\u2019\u00e9ternuement et l\u2019a\u00e9ration r\u00e9guli\u00e8re des pi\u00e8ces.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Benjamin Hounkpatin appelle par ailleurs \u00e0 \u00e9viter l\u2019autom\u00e9dication et \u00e0 se rendre dans un centre de sant\u00e9 d\u00e8s les premiers sympt\u00f4mes.
