Elle a soutenu en 1998 une th\u00e8se de doctorat en chimie organique consacr\u00e9e aux huiles essentielles de plantes aromatiques du B\u00e9nin, un travail scientifique de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence. Ancienne ministre de l\u2019Enseigne ment maternel et primaire sous le pr\u00e9sident Boni Yayi, elle est depuis 2019 ministre de l\u2019Enseigne ment sup\u00e9rieur et de la Recherche scientifique dans le gouvernement du pr\u00e9sident Patrice Talon. Avant son entr\u00e9e au gouvernement, elle a \u00e9galement dirig\u00e9 le Centre des \u0152uvres Universitaires et Sociales de l\u2019UAC (COUS-AC).
