Il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;un organe strat\u00e9gique cr\u00e9\u00e9 en mars 2026 pour encadrer le retour des \u0153uvres patrimoniales b\u00e9ninoises conserv\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">D\u00e9sormais op\u00e9rationnel, ce comit\u00e9 scientifique est charg\u00e9 de piloter l\u2019ensemble du processus technique li\u00e9 \u00e0 la restitution des biens culturels au B\u00e9nin. Sa mission couvre notamment l\u2019identification, la documentation et l\u2019accompagnement des d\u00e9marches internationales visant \u00e0 r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer ces \u0153uvres, souvent d\u00e9tenues dans des mus\u00e9es occidentaux. Compos\u00e9 de six experts issus des sph\u00e8res institutionnelles, scientifiques et culturelles, l&rsquo;organe se positionne comme un levier central de la politique culturelle du gouvernement b\u00e9ninois.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La pr\u00e9sidence du comit\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 confi\u00e9e \u00e0 Alain Godonou, repr\u00e9sentant de la Pr\u00e9sidence de la R\u00e9publique. Il sera \u00e9paul\u00e9 par deux rapporteurs : Djimmy Djiffa Edah, nomm\u00e9 premier rapporteur, et Franck Armel Afoukou, d\u00e9sign\u00e9 deuxi\u00e8me rapporteur. Le comit\u00e9 int\u00e8gre \u00e9galement des figures de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence dans le domaine culturel, notamment Paul Akogni, Didier Hou\u00e9noud\u00e9 et Marie-C\u00e9cile Zinsou, reconnue pour son engagement sur les enjeux de restitution des \u0153uvres africaines.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Selon le d\u00e9cret de nomination, la mise en \u0153uvre des activit\u00e9s du comit\u00e9 sera assur\u00e9e de mani\u00e8re concert\u00e9e par trois minist\u00e8res cl\u00e9s.
