Vers 22h30, un c\u00e2ble \u00e9lectrique de haute tension tomb\u00e9 au sol a provoqu\u00e9 la mort d\u2019une personne, \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00e9glise catholique Saint-Antoine-de-Padoue.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Selon les premiers \u00e9l\u00e9ments recueillis, l\u2019incident est survenu \u00e0 la suite d\u2019un \u00e9pisode m\u00e9t\u00e9orologique marqu\u00e9 par de violentes rafales de vent, suivies de pluies. Un poteau \u00e9lectrique aurait c\u00e9d\u00e9 sous la pression, entra\u00eenant la chute d\u2019un c\u00e2ble sur la voie publique, dans la zone de Cocotomey-Tito, en direction de Godomey. Pris au pi\u00e8ge dans ces circonstances, la victime n\u2019a pas surv\u00e9cu. Les conditions exactes du drame restent encore \u00e0 pr\u00e9ciser, mais la sc\u00e8ne a plong\u00e9 les riverains dans l\u2019\u00e9moi et la consternation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Au moment des faits, une coupure d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 signal\u00e9e. Malgr\u00e9 cela, le c\u00e2ble repr\u00e9sentait toujours un danger potentiel. Alert\u00e9s par le bruit de la chute du poteau, plusieurs habitants sont sortis de leurs domiciles, d\u00e9couvrant une situation chaotique et source de panique. L\u2019intervention des services comp\u00e9tents a permis de s\u00e9curiser les lieux.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Au-del\u00e0 du drame humain, cet incident relance le d\u00e9bat sur l\u2019\u00e9tat et la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des infrastructures \u00e9lectriques dans certaines zones urbaines. La v\u00e9tust\u00e9 des installations, combin\u00e9e aux al\u00e9as climatiques, expose r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement les populations \u00e0 des risques parfois mortels.
