C&rsquo;est dans le cadre d\u2019une op\u00e9ration militaire conjointe men\u00e9e avec le Commandement am\u00e9ricain pour l\u2019Afrique (AFRICOM) dans le nord-est du pays. Selon Abuja, ces frappes ont \u00e9galement permis de neutraliser plusieurs infrastructures strat\u00e9giques du groupe jihadiste<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">D\u2019apr\u00e8s un communiqu\u00e9 du quartier g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la d\u00e9fense nig\u00e9riane, sign\u00e9 par le major-g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Samaila Uba, le nombre total de combattants jihadistes tu\u00e9s depuis le lancement de cette offensive s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve d\u00e9sormais \u00e0 175. L\u2019arm\u00e9e affirme que ces op\u00e9rations cibl\u00e9es ont port\u00e9 un coup important \u00e0 la cha\u00eene de commandement et au dispositif de propagande de l\u2019ISWAP, consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme l\u2019une des organisations terroristes les plus actives en Afrique de l\u2019Ouest. Parmi les cadres \u00e9limin\u00e9s figure Abd-al Wahhab, pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 par les autorit\u00e9s comme un responsable cl\u00e9 charg\u00e9 de coordonner les attaques terroristes ainsi que les activit\u00e9s de propagande du groupe arm\u00e9. L\u2019arm\u00e9e nig\u00e9riane a \u00e9galement confirm\u00e9 la mort d\u2019Abu Musa al-Mangawi, identifi\u00e9 comme un membre senior de l\u2019organisation jihadiste op\u00e9rant dans le bassin du lac Tchad. Autre cible annonc\u00e9e : Abu al-Muthanna al-Muhajir, consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme l\u2019un des principaux artisans de la production m\u00e9diatique de l\u2019ISWAP et proche collaborateur d\u2019Abu-Bilal al-Minuki, dont l\u2019\u00e9limination avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 revendiqu\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment par Abuja.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Selon les autorit\u00e9s militaires, cette nouvelle op\u00e9ration affaiblit consid\u00e9rablement l\u2019appareil de communication et d\u2019influence du groupe affili\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019organisation \u00c9tat islamique. Depuis plus de dix ans, le nord-est du Nigeria reste confront\u00e9 \u00e0 une insurrection jihadiste meurtri\u00e8re.
