L&rsquo;op\u00e9ration a \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9e dans le cadre de la lutte contre la criminalit\u00e9 \u00e9conomique et la cybercriminalit\u00e9. Elle fait suite \u00e0 une plainte d\u00e9pos\u00e9e par la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 nationale des t\u00e9l\u00e9communications du S\u00e9n\u00e9gal (SONATEL).<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Selon les informations communiqu\u00e9es par la Gendarmerie nationale, les suspects sont accus\u00e9s d\u2019avoir mis en place un syst\u00e8me sophistiqu\u00e9 permettant de d\u00e9tourner le trafic international de messages SMS vers le r\u00e9seau local. Cette pratique frauduleuse aurait engendr\u00e9 d\u2019importantes pertes financi\u00e8res pour l\u2019op\u00e9rateur s\u00e9n\u00e9galais de t\u00e9l\u00e9communications. L\u2019enqu\u00eate a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9clench\u00e9e apr\u00e8s un signalement de la SONATEL alertant les autorit\u00e9s sur des anomalies constat\u00e9es dans l\u2019acheminement du trafic SMS international. Les investigations techniques, men\u00e9es conjointement par les enqu\u00eateurs de la Brigade de recherches de Dakar et les experts de l\u2019op\u00e9rateur, ont permis de remonter jusqu\u2019\u00e0 un site suspect localis\u00e9 dans la commune de Ngor, \u00e0 Dakar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Une op\u00e9ration cibl\u00e9e a ensuite \u00e9t\u00e9 conduite sur les lieux. Elle a abouti \u00e0 l\u2019interpellation des six individus ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 la saisie d\u2019un important arsenal technologique utilis\u00e9 pour les activit\u00e9s frauduleuses. Parmi le mat\u00e9riel r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9 figurent plusieurs ordinateurs portables, des passerelles GSM de type SIMBOX, des modems GSM, des routeurs internet, des \u00e9quipements de communication VOIP, de nombreux t\u00e9l\u00e9phones portables et un stock cons\u00e9quent de cartes SIM appartenant \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents op\u00e9rateurs t\u00e9l\u00e9phoniques.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Les forces de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 ont \u00e9galement mis la main sur divers supports de stockage num\u00e9rique et accessoires informatiques susceptibles de contenir des \u00e9l\u00e9ments de preuve suppl\u00e9mentaires.
