Dans un communiqu\u00e9, l\u2019instance mondiale du football a pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 que le refus \u00e9mane directement des autorit\u00e9s canadiennes. \u00ab Sa demande de visa a \u00e9t\u00e9 rejet\u00e9e par le gouvernement canadien \u00bb, a indiqu\u00e9 la FIFA, rappelant qu\u2019elle n\u2019intervient pas dans les proc\u00e9dures d\u2019immigration des pays h\u00f4tes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">De son c\u00f4t\u00e9, Immigration, R\u00e9fugi\u00e9s et Citoyennet\u00e9 Canada (IRCC) a expliqu\u00e9 que chaque demande de visa est examin\u00e9e individuellement conform\u00e9ment aux lois canadiennes en vigueur.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00c0 la suite du refus de son visa, Thomas Partey a quitt\u00e9 Toronto pour regagner le camp de base de la s\u00e9lection ghan\u00e9enne \u00e0 Smithfield, dans l\u2019\u00c9tat am\u00e9ricain du Rhode Island. Le joueur pourra n\u00e9anmoins participer aux deux autres rencontres du Ghana disput\u00e9es sur le territoire am\u00e9ricain. Les Black Stars affronteront l\u2019Angleterre le 23 juin \u00e0 Foxborough, dans le Massachusetts, avant de conclure la phase de groupes face \u00e0 la Croatie le 27 juin \u00e0 Philadelphie.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Thomas doit compara\u00eetre devant la justice britannique en novembre ou \u00e0 une date ult\u00e9rieure.
