Un immeuble lui appartenant, situ\u00e9 \u00e0 Akassato dans la commune d\u2019Abomey-Calavi, sera vendu aux ench\u00e8res le 2 juillet 2026 devant le Tribunal de commerce de Cotonou. La vente intervient \u00e0 la demande de la BOA-B\u00e9nin, dans le cadre d\u2019un contentieux relatif \u00e0 un cr\u00e9dit bancaire impay\u00e9.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Selon une ordonnance rendue publique le 16 juin 2026, le bien immobilier concern\u00e9 sera mis en vente avec une mise \u00e0 prix fix\u00e9e \u00e0 400 millions de francs CFA. Cette proc\u00e9dure intervient apr\u00e8s plusieurs ann\u00e9es de d\u00e9marches engag\u00e9es par la Banque of Africa (BOA-B\u00e9nin) pour obtenir le remboursement d\u2019une cr\u00e9ance rest\u00e9e impay\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">D\u2019apr\u00e8s les \u00e9l\u00e9ments du dossier, le litige trouve son origine dans un cr\u00e9dit accord\u00e9 \u00e0 la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Algoaw SA. Afin de garantir cette op\u00e9ration financi\u00e8re, l\u2019immeuble d\u2019Akassato avait \u00e9t\u00e9 hypoth\u00e9qu\u00e9 au profit de l\u2019\u00e9tablissement bancaire informe B\u00e9nin WebTV. Toutefois, malgr\u00e9 l\u2019\u00e9ch\u00e9ance du pr\u00eat et les diff\u00e9rentes proc\u00e9dures de recouvrement initi\u00e9es depuis 2021, la dette n\u2019aurait pas \u00e9t\u00e9 apur\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Face \u00e0 l\u2019absence de r\u00e8glement, la BOA-B\u00e9nin a poursuivi la proc\u00e9dure judiciaire jusqu\u2019\u00e0 obtenir la saisie du bien immobilier. Cette \u00e9tape ouvre d\u00e9sormais la voie \u00e0 une vente aux ench\u00e8res publiques sous le contr\u00f4le du Tribunal de commerce de Cotonou.
