La National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) a annonc\u00e9 l’arrestation de Nwabueze Felix Onyeka. Il s’agit d’un doctorant de 45 ans de l’universit\u00e9 Putra de Malaisie. L’homme est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 comme le principal responsable d’un r\u00e9seau de trafic international de coca\u00efne entre le Nigeria et la Malaisie.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Selon les autorit\u00e9s nig\u00e9rianes, le suspect a \u00e9t\u00e9 interpell\u00e9 le lundi 29 juin 2026 lors d’une op\u00e9ration cibl\u00e9e men\u00e9e dans la zone de gouvernement local d’Ekwusigo, dans l’\u00c9tat d’Anambra. Cette arrestation constitue l’aboutissement d’une enqu\u00eate ouverte apr\u00e8s la saisie de 36 colis de coca\u00efne, repr\u00e9sentant un poids brut de 5,80 kilogrammes, soigneusement dissimul\u00e9s dans les parois de neuf cartons de la boisson aux herbes \u00ab Orijin Bitters \u00bb. La cargaison faisait partie d’un envoi group\u00e9 destin\u00e9 \u00e0 Kuala Lumpur, en Malaisie.<\/p>\n

D’apr\u00e8s la NDLEA plusieurs interpellations effectu\u00e9es dans diff\u00e9rents quartiers de Lagos ont permis de mieux poursuivre l’op\u00e9ration. Quatre personnes avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 arr\u00eat\u00e9es au cours des investigations. Un agent de fret charg\u00e9 de l’exp\u00e9dition, le chauffeur ayant transport\u00e9 la cargaison, un commer\u00e7ant du march\u00e9 ASPANDA (Trade Fair Complex) ayant remis les cartons au transporteur, ainsi qu’un complice accus\u00e9 d’avoir fourni les cartons utilis\u00e9s pour cacher la drogue. Les investigations men\u00e9es par les services antidrogue ont finalement conduit les enqu\u00eateurs jusqu’\u00e0 Nwabueze Felix Onyeka, localis\u00e9 dans son village d’Aziora, \u00e0 Ozubulu, dans l’\u00c9tat d’Anambra, o\u00f9 il tentait de se cacher. Les autorit\u00e9s le pr\u00e9sentent comme le chef du r\u00e9seau criminel ayant orchestr\u00e9 cette tentative d’exportation de coca\u00efne vers la Malaisie.<\/p>\n

Les investigations se poursuivent afin d’identifier d’\u00e9ventuels autres membres du r\u00e9seau et de d\u00e9terminer l’\u00e9tendue de ses activit\u00e9s au Nigeria comme \u00e0 l’\u00e9tranger.<\/p>\n
