Il obtient ainsi un nouveau mandat \u00e0 la t\u00eate de ce pays d\u2019Afrique australe, apr\u00e8s un scrutin marqu\u00e9 par une participation importante et une campagne domin\u00e9e par les enjeux \u00e9conomiques.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hakainde Hichilema conserve la pr\u00e9sidence de la Zambie. La commission \u00e9lectorale a annonc\u00e9 sa r\u00e9\u00e9lection avec 60 % des voix, confirmant le maintien au pouvoir du chef de l\u2019\u00c9tat sortant \u00e0 l\u2019issue du scrutin pr\u00e9sidentiel. \u00c9lu pour la premi\u00e8re fois en 2021, Hichilema avait alors mis fin \u00e0 pr\u00e8s de dix ann\u00e9es de pouvoir du Front patriotique. Son nouveau mandat doit lui permettre de poursuivre les orientations engag\u00e9es depuis son arriv\u00e9e \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sidence, pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment sur le plan \u00e9conomique. Le scrutin s\u2019est d\u00e9roul\u00e9 dans une p\u00e9riode o\u00f9 les questions li\u00e9es au co\u00fbt de la vie, \u00e0 l&#8217;emploi et aux difficult\u00e9s \u00e9conomiques occupent une place importante dans les pr\u00e9occupations de la population. La situation \u00e9conomique du pays, notamment l&rsquo;endettement et les conditions de vie, figurait parmi les principaux sujets de la campagne.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">*Un nouveau mandat pour Hichilema*<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La victoire annonc\u00e9e par la commission \u00e9lectorale permet au pr\u00e9sident sortant de prolonger son action \u00e0 la t\u00eate du pays. Son premier mandat avait surtout \u00e9t\u00e9 ponctu\u00e9 par les n\u00e9gociations avec les cr\u00e9anciers de la Zambie et la mise en \u0153uvre d&rsquo;un programme de restructuration de la dette. Hichilema avait \u00e9galement fait de l&rsquo;am\u00e9lioration de la gouvernance et de la relance \u00e9conomique des axes importants de son programme. Sa r\u00e9\u00e9lection lui offre d\u00e9sormais la possibilit\u00e9 de poursuivre ces r\u00e9formes. L\u2019annonce des r\u00e9sultats par la Commission \u00e9lectorale ouvre d\u00e9sormais une nouvelle \u00e9tape du processus \u00e9lectoral.
