R\u00e9unis \u00e0 l\u2019initiative du G-100, plusieurs responsables politiques et acteurs de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile, dont Atiku Abubakar et Peter Obi, ont jet\u00e9 les bases d\u2019une alliance capable de faire face au pr\u00e9sident sortant Bola Ahmed Tinubu.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00ab La division est un choix. La coop\u00e9ration doit maintenant devenir une strat\u00e9gie. \u00bb C\u2019est autour de ce mot d\u2019ordre que s\u2019ouvre, ce lundi dans la capitale nig\u00e9riane, un sommet consacr\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019avenir de l\u2019opposition. La rencontre est organis\u00e9e par le G-100, une coalition de responsables politiques et d\u2019acteurs de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile dirig\u00e9e par Salihu Lukman, ancien responsable du parti au pouvoir. Contrairement aux pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes discussions, les participants ne devraient pas chercher \u00e0 d\u00e9signer imm\u00e9diatement un candidat unique pour la prochaine pr\u00e9sidentielle.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L\u2019objectif est d\u00e9sormais de mettre en place un cadre de coop\u00e9ration politique et programmatique entre les diff\u00e9rentes composantes de l\u2019opposition. Parmi les principales figures attendues \u00e0 Abuja figurent Atiku Abubakar et Peter Obi, arriv\u00e9s respectivement deuxi\u00e8me et troisi\u00e8me lors de la derni\u00e8re \u00e9lection pr\u00e9sidentielle.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Atiku Abubakar, ancien vice-pr\u00e9sident, est d\u00e9sormais port\u00e9 par le Congr\u00e8s d\u00e9mocratique africain (ADC). Peter Obi, ancien gouverneur de l\u2019\u00c9tat d\u2019Anambra, \u00e9volue quant \u00e0 lui sous la banni\u00e8re du Congr\u00e8s d\u00e9mocratique national (NDC). Les deux hommes apparaissent comme des acteurs majeurs des discussions sur une \u00e9ventuelle recomposition de l\u2019opposition face \u00e0 Bola Ahmed Tinubu, candidat \u00e0 sa propre succession.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Quatre autres formations politiques d\u2019opposition doivent \u00e9galement prendre part aux travaux. Le Parti travailliste (LP) a toutefois d\u00e9clin\u00e9 l\u2019invitation, estimant disposer d\u2019une organisation suffisamment solide pour mener sa propre strat\u00e9gie \u00e9lectorale. Le sommet doit se poursuivre pendant deux jours. \u00c0 l\u2019issue des \u00e9changes, cinq groupes de travail th\u00e9matiques seront constitu\u00e9s.
